Solidarity For Humanity
Do I know what it is like to be in love?
You see,
I realized that I fell in love with love,
when I knew that my solidarity for humanity
did not depend on any identity
I don’t need to be Palestinian, African, or Indian
I just had to be human
Do I know how it feels?
I do
I feel depressed
While loved ones are oppressed
I also know how it smells,
The smell of cowardice, betrayal, and narcissism
Stinks
Stinks stronger than their collective selective,
pretentious humanity
Myths
But do you really blame them,
Those who do not know
what it is like to be in love
In A culture that teaches you,
it’s all about you,
And being the best version of you
Devoid of the connection to the other
As if everyone else existence don’t matter
Indulging in the meaninglessness of life
while others suffer
Here is all message to all of you
You, open your heart
do not let them fool you
Into believing what is really not true
You love, is the love itself
from the beginning,
till the end of love!
